OVS is excited to extend our online program to include math, science and language courses in grades 8. These middle school courses will mirror the quality and support of our high school program:

These courses can be taken by students for a variety of reasons including….

Assist with the transition to high school by reinforcing concepts and skills needed,
Support students with transition to online learning,
Supports parents who are homeschooling their child/children.

LAN8G, Grade 8 Language

This course teaches students to understand, apply, and communicate information and ideas that will help them engage both in school and in our multicultural, multimedia world.

MAT8G, Grade 8 Math

Grade 8 Math is designed to help students acquire a positive attitude towards mathematics, as they learn a variety of skills that will help them become capable and confident math learners.

Students will learn about the diverse applications of the principles involved in fluid mechanics, the impacts of technological innovations based on the properties of fluids, and the industries and jobs related to fluids.
